Once upon a time

  1. June 2019

    How we met

    Online — Ally swiped right and lost his mind. Our first date was the late late show at Ronnie Scott's, and concluded with pancakes (with strawberries and cream) at 5am.

  2. Summer 2019

    Our first trip

    The Amalfi Coast, Italy. Someone hired a Vespa claiming "loads of experience" where none existed. Italy is where our love story started.

  3. May 2024

    The proposal

    Ally bent the knee in a hot air balloon over the Valley of the Kings in Egypt.

  4. Summer 2025

    Our home

    After months of searching, we finally found our space between Battersea and Clapham Common.

  5. December 2025

    First taste of parenting

    We brought Akilis home — our golden retriever puppy. Akilis: a combination of Greek warrior and Kilimanjaro, a nod to our joint African heritage.
